This is a very rare medallion, and it's origins and makers are unknown. May well indeed have been a special or anniversary issue for one of Quantrill's reunions. Probably of circa 1900 vintage.

The medallion is constructed of a solid brass bar, medal back and chain. Sepia tone photographic insert of William Clarke Quantrill. Pin clasp on reverse of bar.

Measures 2 7/8 inch by 1 5/8 inch.
