Fabulous, early GAR belt buckle. Comes complete with keeper and belt sizer. The wonderful thing about this combo is that the belt is a M1851 Officer's belt!!
I would assume the gentleman that wore this simply "retired" his M1851 plate for the GAR plate for his reunions. The belt alone is worth price of this combo. Very nice.
