Inspectors marks WS (William Smith) as well as ORD (Ordnance Department) markings on sword as well as scabbard. Only approximately 1,000 made in 1837. Next to last year of production of the M1833. Wonderful brown, laquered scabbard. Bright blade. Missing 5 wire wraps. An outstanding and rare saber.
