CS Cavalry Spur Nice, non-excavated specimen. Complete with rowel. Identical to the one pictured in Crouch's "Historic American Spurs", #CS5. These spurs are somewhat of a mystery. They are a well designed, flowing spur. Very beautiful. Many have been dug in Virginia. This one cleaned many, many years ago. Many file marks on strap plates.
